About
A space where art, architecture and bespoke design combine with collaboration, regeneration, forward-thinking and excellence, Atelier63 by Andrew Gibbs - Fellow of the RSA, carries a wide breadth of projects through full delivery from a thought, an idea, inception, to a finished piece that achieves an intentional backdrop for people to live within, composed sympathetically to the building and its setting, its function and materials. Andrew's interests focus upon 'agritecture', regeneration and innovation for future communities.
Working collaboratively with craftsmen, local communities and private clients, Andrew explores design ideas by studying the space, setting, materials, people and history linked to each project through various mediums such as photography, film, paint, and sculpture in order to form a direction that brings about a well-considered and intentional fusion of old and new, a contrast of lightness and weight which works to harmonise a holding power between the space, the piece and the viewer.
